Wireless Philadelphia is for EVERYONE.

With citywide wireless broadband on the way, including free access in 23 parks and other public spaces, the Wireless Initiative is creating exciting new opportunities for citizens, visitors and businesses.

There is a role to play for every citizen, business and community organization in making Wireless Philadelphia's vision a reality. As network completion rapidly approaches, there are opportunities for volunteers to help with "Digital Inclusion" signups, teach workshops on internet applications and provide technical support to new Internet users.

Additionally, everyone is asked to contribute the funds necessary to providing the resources that qualifying "Digital Inclusion" households will need to begin to use the powers of the internet to improve their educational, employment and life opportunities. Every $600 raised can provide one low-income household with hardware, software, technical support, training and one year of EarthLink wireless internet service.
